DELTABUILDING & RESTORATION

Plastering

Patches, full walls, suspended ceilings and decorative finishes, set flat and sanded clean.

Freshly set plaster wall in a shop fit-out

Good plastering is the part nobody notices. Walls sit flat, joins disappear and the paint goes on clean. That is the standard on every job, from one patch to a whole shop.

Plastering is where Delta started, and Kosta has been doing it for more than 25 years. A small repair gets the same care as a full room.

We work in traditional and decorative plaster and build suspended ceilings for shops and restaurants, in homes and commercial fit-outs alike.

We work across Bayside, the south eastern suburbs and Metro Melbourne.

What we take on

  • Wall and ceiling repairs
  • New walls and ceilings
  • Suspended ceilings
  • Decorative plaster finishes

When to call a plasterer

If any of these sound familiar, it is worth having Kosta take a look. Quotes are free.

  • Cracks that keep coming back
  • A ceiling that is sagging or stained
  • Holes left after electrical or plumbing work
  • Bare brick or tired walls you want smooth
  • A shop or restaurant fit-out on a deadline

What plastering covers

  • New walls

Sheeted, taped, set in coats and sanded, ready for paint.

  • Ceilings

Cracked or sagging ceilings repaired, or taken down and replaced.

  • Patches and repairs

Holes, cracks and damaged sections cut out and patched so the repair does not show.

  • Suspended ceilings

Framed and hung below the structure for shops, restaurants and offices.

  • Decorative plaster

Cornices and decorative finishes for period and modern rooms.

  • Clean finish

The site is cleaned up when we are done, and you walk through the result.

Three kinds of plaster work

Walls and ceilings

Plasterboard sheets are fixed to the frame, the joins are taped and set in coats, then everything is sanded. Done well, you cannot see where one sheet ends and the next begins.

  • New rooms and extensions
  • Replacing damaged walls
  • Covering bare brick
