Stavros Souvlaki Bar

Stavros Souvlaki Bar, a takeaway shop located in St. Kilda, underwent renovation work conducted by Delta Building and Restoration. The focus of the renovation was on the ceiling, where they installed a suspended ceiling with solid plaster featuring an architectural design.

A suspended ceiling is a secondary ceiling that hangs below the main structural ceiling, leaving a gap in between. This type of ceiling is commonly used in commercial spaces like restaurants and shops because it offers several benefits, including better acoustics, easier access to utilities (such as electrical wiring or HVAC systems), and improved aesthetics.

In this case, the use of solid plaster for the suspended ceiling means that a durable and solid material was applied to the surface, providing a smooth and attractive finish, giving it a more polished and stylish appearance.
